During the year we put on many productions. Listed below are some of our forthcoming events.

In November ‘Octagon Dance and Musical Theatre Company’ will perform the full-length ballet Giselle at the Maltings, Ship Lane where you will be able to judge for yourselves the high standard of the dancers.

Octagon Studios is currently planning a community performance project which will offer talented young people from the age of 13+ years the opportunity to take part in a production of Guys and Dolls to be performed in Ely Cathedral in early summer 2012. Open auditions will take place in November at the studios. If you can sing, dance and act or would like to, then please look out for further announcements regarding the auditions; however if you are interested in this project and want to be sure of an audition you are welcome to leave your information on the list available at the studios.

Gifted and Talented Ballet

In addition to the normal timetable the studios offer associate ‘Gifted and Talented’ ballet class on alternate Sundays – Junior, Intermediate and Advanced classes are on offer. Entry to these classes is by audition. Auditions can be booked by telephone, e-mail or by visiting the studios for an application form.

The Goldsmith Singers

We are currently looking for new members to join our adult choir ‘The Goldsmith Singers’.

And finally…

Don’t forget the Pilates, Tai Chi, Yoga and Young at Heart exercise classes. You will find days and times for these on the new timetable.
